WSJ2015: Opening Ceremony

The 23rd World Scout Jamboree has officially opened!

Over 35’000 people joined together for a fantastic show including traditional Japanese drumming and the handover ceremony, where Scout flags were handed from Sweden to Japan.

One explorer had a very unique experience during the proceedings:

“I got invested into Explorers and it just makes you realise the scale of Scouting around the world.”
