Reunion 2015: Sunday at Reunion the end to a fantastic weekend!

Gilwell Reunion is over for another year, but what a fantastic event it was. We spoke to some of those that attended about what they got from it, and the event organisers about how it all went.

This year over 2,000 scouting adults from casual volunteers, exec members, leaders and scout networkers attended the annual event of Gilwell Reunion. We were told that all the workshops were very well attended, the evening entertainments buzzing with activity and the stalls, whilst stands and exhibitors were constantly busy across the weekend.

Those that came to the event attended for a wide variety of reasons, from meeting friends new and old, getting programme ideas, letting their hair down, and getting support from any of the numerous Scout Association teams and departments in attendance.

We spoke to Jess the Deputy event organiser, who had a fantastic time and was really pleased with how well the event went and how well everything was received and attended. Next year is also the 90th year of the event, and they are welcoming feedback for all those that attended either on the feedback form that people should have received at the start of the event, or on the online feedback that will be released this week.

Scout Radio had a fantastic time at the event, we wanted to say a big hello and thank you to all those that stopped and said hello, were happy to be interviewed and those that listened and interacted with us.
