Dementia might not seem the obvious choice that may have been chosen by young people as one of the impact areas, but Becky explains that.
“it makes perfect sense, Dementia is increasing common and effecting more and more people”
The impact of Dementia is more than just those that suffer from it, but it effect all those around them, their friends, family and even community. The impact group felt it was important to let young people become aware of the issue and how it can impact people. Leaders are advised to look at the resource packs that have been created which is full of information and activities to help educate and engage the young people, young people who are more aware of the issues can have a really positive impact by helping to support those in our community who suffer form these issues.
