Muslim Scout International Jamboree

2017 saw the first Muslim Scout International Jamboree at Kibblestone campsite in Staffordshire.

Over a thousand Muslim Scouts from as far afield as Indonesia and Australia joined together for a four day programme of activities themed around the planet earth.

Its a great experience for all scouts…and even the leaders, they enjoy it [too]

For many groups on site this was their first big camp and we caught up with some of them to find out what they have been getting up to.

Muslims pray five times a day, wherever they are, during the summer the first prayer can be as early as 04:00, and other groups on site were surprised by the call to prayer amplified across the campsite.
