Scouts Attend First Pride Parade Since Lockdown

Since the lockdown measures were eased, as scouts, it was important that as lockdown measures have eased we could have as near normal experience taking part in the parade, which was great for everyone's mental health and to show we are still here for our young people who maybe struggling with their sexuality. It's important for them to know that us leaders are here to support them as we slowly all return to face to face scouting. National Scout & Guide Symphony Orchestra all set for summer performances

Over 75 Scouts & Guides from all across the UK will join together this summer to form the National Scout & Guide Symphony Orchestra. The NSGSO is a week-long course where Scouts & Guides take part in music rehearsals and masterclasses, which orchestra manager Jill Bowman describes as a "week of fun, friendship and music". The course, which is celebrating it's 40th Birthday nearly didn't go ahead this year after the orchestra was closed down in December.
