Its Friday night at Gilwell Reunion 2017, Scout Radio is broadcasting throughout the weekend to over 2400 adult volunteers on site via 87.9fm and online. UK Chief Commissioner Tim Kidd opened his first Reunion this evening. Tim encouraged participants to Remake your old friends...make new friends, say hello to people you don't know, swap stories and enrich your Scouting. London Marathon
The London Marathon is one of the iconic days on the British calendar with thousands running for causes close to their hearts and millions watching on from the course and further afield.  It is a day Scout Radio loves, being able to suppose Scout runners who have dedicated months of their lives to training and fundraising is a privilege. We caught up with some of this years Scout runners, Dave Mills, Kevin Stone, Simon Read and Stuart Wilson at the end of the gruelling 26.2 mile race. Scout Radio is heading to Scarefest 2016! - The action packed Halloween adventure at Gilwell Park We are broadcasting live from 'The Den' all weekend (near Chubbies and the Market Square), and as well as enjoying our broadcast you can also have a go yourself! You and your friends can have your own mini radio show during the activity session times, why not drop on by to book your own slot on Scout Radio... The entire experience takes about 35 minutes for the planning and being on air! and once you have had your show you will be able to listen back again online here the week after!
