Scoutcast, Virtual Scouting
For this week' scoutcast you will need: Coloured pens and pencils and some paper to draw on. Any natural materials you can collect safely. Eg. Leaves, twigs, sand, stones. If you cant go out you could use tea leaves or anything else natural that you can find. And a fruit, cut in half or with a lid cut off. A melon, grapefruit or orange would work best. And a spoon. (And either a hungry beaver/cub or a bowl to scoop the fruit innards into) If you have any books about birds, animals or plants they would be useful, but not essential. https://scout.radio/play/scoutcast-episode-6/ Heres a useful link to have a look at after the show https://www.woodlandtrust.org.uk/blog/2019/04/identify-bird-song/ insects by Tony Malone
