This was the first attendance of the Scouts at a pride parade since the lockdown we all experienced.
Since the lockdown measures were eased, as scouts, it was important that as lockdown measures have eased we could have as near normal experience taking part in the parade, which was great for everyone's mental health and to show we are still here for our young people who maybe struggling with their sexuality. It's important for them to know that us leaders are here to support them as we slowly all return to face to face scouting.
Just over 30 scouts attended the parade in Birmingham including young people from the scout and explorer sections, their parents and leaders.

On Saturday 13th February Scout Radio will be hosting our JamboRadio for Beavers, Cubs and Scouts everywhere.

This week we're doing a very special badge called the Great Froggo challenge, which was designed by the Quantum Potatoes Explorer Scouts.
You will need:
Some A4 pieces of paper, scissors, pritt stick, crayons, pens, pencils, paints and crafty bits. Scraps of paper, a jar or container, a large stone or pebble, Random snack items from your cupboard: (sweets, jelly, bread sticks, biscuits, chocolates) and a bowl, or tray

This week we're doing the cubs home help badge and parts of the beavers skills challenge.
You will need:
An alarm clock or phone with an alarm app/settingClean bedding for your bed and the old bedding taken off an iron, ironing board and your neckerchief and a t shirtyour laundry basketA duster, cleaning cloth and cleaner. And an adult to check you haven't missed a spot.
